No experience is needed to learn the essentials of tapestry weaving. During this class with Michelle Follett, you will experience the entire process of tapestry weaving. The class starts with an all-day session during which you will learn tapestry weaving terminology, and dress a continuous-warp tapestry loom. Five subsequent 2-hour lessons are accommodated by studio time during which you are taught the principle techniques of tapestry weaving, and given ample time for practice. Beyond-beginners wanting a skill refresher will benefit, too. All inclusive fee of $175.00 per participant covers equipment, accessories and fibers. Registration required.
