Explore color and texture as fibers go over and under with hand-weaving on a ready-to-weave loom. In this relaxed-atmosphere introduction to looms and weaving, participants weave on pre-dressed looms, using a plethora of colorful and textural fibers in the making a one-of-a-kind, handwoven textile - perhaps a wallhanging in an hour, a table runner in a few hours, or a custom-length scarf with a day’s effort. All weavers welcome; recommended for ages 7 and up. Available Friday through Monday, 11:00 - 5:00 by the hour or by the day. Groups up to six welcome. Registration required.
